Anna Nicole - The Opera
"Anna Nicole: The Opera" - yes, you've read correctly.
I am a big opera lover, but think I will be skipping this one. It was actually commissioned by The Royal Opera House in London in 2011, and now is making its way to us, and will be on at BAM from September 18th to 28th.
One should not be surprised however, because the same team brought you "Jerry Springer: The Opera" in 2003.

Draw or Die

The movie is about some of the world's finest illustrators, painters, and concept artists coming together to share their knowledge with the aspiring young artists from all over the world. This symposium took place in Berlin, Germany, in the Summer of 2010.
I really liked seeing traditional artists work next to tablet users and be fascinated by one another. Wish this movie had more shots of them drawing instead of drinking, but that's what you get when the sponsor is Vodka :)
